Day 1
Coming Back to Each Other
Today's Focus
Connection rarely disappears all at once.
More often, life gets busy, routines take over, and we simply stop making space to really be with each other.
Today isn't about fixing anything.
It's simply about slowing down and reconnecting for a few minutes.
Reflection Exercise
Take a moment to think about your relationship as it is right now.
Then complete this sentence:
Right now, in our relationship, I feel: ______
There is no right or wrong answer.
Just notice what comes up for you.
Today's Connection Moment
Take 2–3 quiet minutes together.
Choose one of the following:
Sit facing each other and hold hands in silence
Sit facing each other and simply look at each other
Sit close together and place a hand on your own heart or your partner’s heart.
No need to talk.
Just notice what it feels like to slow down and be present together.
When the time is up, each person completes this sentence:
"Right now, I feel..."
One sentence is enough.
If You're Doing This On Your Own
Take 2–3 quiet minutes and bring your partner to mind.
If it feels right, place a hand on your heart, take a few slow breaths, and allow yourself to settle into the moment.
Then complete the sentence:
"Right now, I feel..."
There is no right or wrong answer. Just notice what is present for you today.
Before Tomorrow
What did you notice during those few minutes?
Did anything feel different from your usual day-to-day interactions?
Tomorrow we will look at what often sits underneath frustration and distance.
Pay attention today to moments where you feel triggered, annoyed, or emotionally distant — even in small ways.
